PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having a negative electrode active material into/from which lithium ions are inserted and separated at potential of 1.2 V with respect to lithium potential of lithium titanate or the like, the nonaqueous electrolyte battery having an excellent low temperature output characteristic.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte battery containing a negative electrode having nonaqueous electrolyte containing electrolyte salt and nonaqueous solvent, a positive electrode and a negative electrode active material (excluding NbO) into/from lithium ions are inserted/separated at potential of 1.2 V or more with respect to lithium potential, the nonaqueous solvent is carbonic acid ester containing no carbon-carbon double bond, when the volume of the carbonic acid ester is set to 100, the volume of the cyclic carbonic acid ester out of the carbonic ester is represented by a, and the volume of ethyl methyl carbonate is represented by c, a+c=100 and 0≤a≤10, 90≤c≤100 are satisfied at the same time, and the positive electrode has a positive electrode active material selected from composite oxide of lithium nickel, composite oxide of lithium and nickel cobalt, and composite oxide of lithium, nickel, cobalt and manganese.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
