PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer 1 capable of effectively preventing air bubbles AB in an oil O from residing on the lower surface of a filter material 13.SOLUTION: An oil strainer 1 includes a body 11, in which an outflow port 12 is opened, and a filter material 13, which is disposed at the lower side of the body 11 and forms a filter chamber S between the body 11 and itself. In the oil strainer, the lower surface of the filter material 13 forms the lower surface of the oil strainer 1 and is structured to have a gradient. Thus, air bubbles AB caught on the lower surface of the filter material 13 move on the lower surface of the filter material 13 to relatively the upper side by buoyancy and leave the oil strainer 1 floating from the end thereof. Therefore, the air bubbles AB are prevented from residing on the lower surface of the filter material 13. |
