PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving accuracy of a current sensor while reducing a useless space between a pair of shield plates.SOLUTION: A current sensor 2 measures a current flowing through two bas bars 3 and 13 arranged side by side in the X direction and extending in parallel in the Y direction. A sensor element 4 is arranged so that the magnetic sensing direction faces the X direction on a straight line running through the bas bar 3 in the Z direction. A pair of shield plates 5 and 6 sandwich the bas bar 3 and the sensor element 4 in the Z direction. The bas bar 3 is located between the sensor element 4 and the lower shield plate 5. The sensor element 4 is located closer to the upper shield 6 plate than to the lower shield plate 5. At least the thickness or the magnetic permeability of a magnetic shield plate is greater on the upper shield plate 6 in comparison with the lower shield plate 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
