PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of recording a still image at a time point as intended by a user, by selecting whether or not the user is looking at a remote control device with a display monitor when an imaging instruction is given using the remote control device.SOLUTION: In an imaging system comprising an imaging apparatus and a remote control device, the imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging a video; moving image storage means for storing a moving image for a constant time period; and video recording means for extracting a video at a predetermined time point from the stored moving image, stored by the moving image storage means, to record. The remote control device includes: remote control means for transmitting an imaging instruction to the imaging apparatus through communication; and imaged video display means for receiving a video imaged by the imaging apparatus through communication to display at any time. The video recording means enables the selection of a time point to extract a video from the stored moving image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
