PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device which can miniaturize a transformer while suppressing an increase of a switching loss in a light load region.SOLUTION: A DC-DC power conversion device which outputs an arbitrary DC voltage Vx to a load 7 includes an inverter 2 having first to third switching legs, each being a series body of two switching elements, connected in parallel. The DC-DC power conversion device provides a first operation mode in which all switching elements in the first to third switching legs are switching operated, and a second operation mode in which either an upper or a lower switching element of at least one or more switching legs among the first to third switching legs is operated to be continuously switched ON, whereas the other switching element to be continuously switched OFF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
