[Problem] To provide a toothbrush capable of reliably and efficiently removing dental plaque between teeth, in periodontal pockets and on back teeth. [Solution] This toothbrush is provided with a grasping part on a heel of a bristle base and has a brush part configured from a plurality of brush tufts tufted into the bristle base. At least one ridge-shaped protrusion (tow protrusion) is formed on the tip of a tow part of the brush part. When viewed in the direction along the short sides, the protrusion (tow protrusion) is formed to have an acute apex angle and a linear or curved edge line sloping downward toward the respective side ends. When viewed in the direction along the long sides, the protrusion (tow protrusion) is formed to have an acute apex angle and comprises a tow-side edge having a substantially vertical edge line and a heel-side edge having a linear or curved edge line sloping downward toward the heel. |
