A discharge head (12) for a dispenser (10) for discharging a fluid is known, in particular for discharging a pharmaceutical or cosmetic fluid. The discharge head (12) comprises a base (16) and an applicator (18) that is movably attached to the base (16). The base (16) is designed for assembly on a fluid reservoir (20) or for secure integration on a fluid reservoir. The applicator (18) comprises a discharge opening (22), via which fluid can be released into an environment. The discharge head (12) comprises a pump unit (24) or a valve unit, which is arranged in a fluid channel (26) connecting the fluid reservoir (20) to the discharge opening (22), wherein the pump unit (24) can be operated by displacement of the applicator with respect to the base (16), or wherein the valve unit can be opened and closed by displacement of the applicator with respect to the base. According to the invention: the discharge head comprises a child-proof cap unit; the cap unit (50) comprises a cap (52) for covering the discharge opening (22); and the cap unit (50) comprises a separate securing section (58), which is both securely attached on the base (16) or the applicator (18) via a securing unit (60), and is also designed for detachable securing of the cap (52). Intended to be used for providing dispensers with child-proof protective caps with small structural adjustments. |
