PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the reduction of a Ba2 Ti9 O20 dielectric material at the time of production and to inexpensively obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. (dielectric material) for microwaves having a high Q value and a low temp. coefft. of resonance frequency. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain compsn. is represented by the formula, xBaO.yTiO2 .zLi2 O and contains Ba2 Ti9 O20 or BaTi4 O6 as the principal crystal phase. In the formula, 15.5 mol.%<=x<=21 mol.%, 78.5 mol.%<=y<=84 mol.% and 0.01 mol.%<=z<=0.5 mol.%. |
