CURABLE HYDROCARBON POLYMER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable polymer composition having especially a high curing rate by including an alkenyl-containing hydrocarbon polymer (A), an organosilicon compound (B) (in such an amount that the ratio of the number of moles of the Si-bonded hydrogen atoms to that of moles of the alkenyl groups is specified) and the specified number of equivalents of a platinum complex catalyst composition (C). SOLUTION: Component A contains at least one alkenyl group in the molecule, component B is an organosilicon compound containing at least two Si- bonded hydrogen atoms in the molecule and is used in such an amount that the ratio of the number of moles of the Si-bonded hydrogen atoms in this component to that of moles of the alkenyl groups in component A is in the range of (0.005:1) to (10:1), and component C is a platinum complex catalyst composition based on a platinum compound having ligands mainly consisting of long- chain-alkyl-containing organosiloxanes which are represented by the formula (wherein R is a 4-30 C alky; R1 is a 4-30C alkyl or a 1-3C alkyl; and n is 1-10) and in which the vinyl groups are present in an amount of 4-10,000 equivalents per platinum atom.
