摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure three-dimensional reconstruction with a good positional accuracy without using an external positional detector by using a correlation index adapted to a different display dynamic range and a post-process filter in following the movement of scanning plane in three-dimensional ultrasonic scanning. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer array 2 is provided which sends an ultrasonic beam and detects the reflected echo from a substance region. Output data of beam former 4 for each scanning line is supplied to a B mode processing chain 6 and a single sound wave image frame is formed according to the shape of scanning. The averaging of sound wave frame is made by an averaging block 8. The R-θformat of compression image is converted at a scanning converter 10 and an X-Y format for video display is obtained. At the time of B mode imaging, a newest image is stored in a cine-memory 16, and the image system stored and selected thereat is transferred to a host computer 20 for the three-dimensional reconstruction.
