PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a lid, wherein obstacles which become useless bulky objects are not generated regardless when the printer is used, or not used without increasing the number of parts, and in addition, the operation part can be protected by a simple structure, and at the same time, house accessories in the printer itself by a simple structure, and improve the using handiness. SOLUTION: On the upper face of a printer main body 1 constituted in such a manner that an operation part is provided on the upper surface of the main body, a lid 5 is provided, and the lid 5 is formed into a structure which can be transformed into a discharged paper tray 50 as is by removing it from the main body upper surface and placing it in a manner to face a paper discharging port. Or, on the main body upper surface, a housing part for acessories is provided. By the transforming structure, the printer is efficient both in the function and the structure, and there is not waste, and the using handiness becomes favorable as well. |
