PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently sterilize food products or the like under easy tempera ture control without deterioration of the quality of the food products and the vessel whitening by filling a plastic vessel with a specific substance to be steri lized and treating them under specific conditions. SOLUTION: Immediately after heating at a temperature higher than the sterilization one, the substance to be sterilized, for example, fluid food products or medicines and the like are packed in a plastic vessel, for example, a film- made bag as a polyethylene bag, and tightly sealed in a high pressure tank 3. Then, this vessel is sterilized in a prescribed manner by keeping them for its needed sterilization time. Then, the vessel is cooled down by using a cooling tank 5, taken out of the high-pressure tank. |
