<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of discrimination accuracy in using as a discrimination device when a medium to be inspected is carried while being deviated vertically from a reference surface. <P>SOLUTION: An image acquisition device for acquiring image of the medium to be inspected 21 which is carried along the horizontal reference surface includes: a first light receiving sensor array 11 disposed on a normal 31 at a reference point 29 assumed on the reference surface; and a second light receiving sensor array 13 and a third light receiving sensor array 15 disposed on opposite sides across the normal, respectively. Each of the first, second and third light receiving sensor arrays includes a plurality of light receiving sensors which are arrayed vertically to the carrying direction of the medium along the reference surface, and the plurality of light receiving sensors constituting each of the first-third light receiving sensor arrays is disposed with the line of focal points thereof being linearly matched to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
