PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a transfer stability and facilitate a thermal transfer control to a final image-receiving body by arranging a plurality of recordig heads on the outside of a closed loop of an outer circumference of a large-diameter drum thereby constituting a dye layer transfer part and an image record part, and separately arranging an image transfer head to the inside of the closed loop thereby constituting an image transfer part. SOLUTION: A recording intermediate body 8 comprising a closed loop of a belt astride a large-diameter drum 10, small-diameter drums 100, 110 and 120 and the like is provided. A dye layer transfer part 1 and image record parts 2, 3 and 4 are disposed on an outer circumference of the large-diameter drum. The dye layer transfer part 1 consists of a recording head 11, a dye layer transfer body 6, a take-out part 12, a take-up part 13, and a cold separation mechanism 14. The image record parts 2, 3 and 4 have yellow, magenta and cyan record parts installed in a tandem structure. Am image transfer part 5 consisting of a recording head 51, a small-diameter drum 52 and a cold separation mechanism part guide roller 100, an image-receiving body 9 and a take-out 91 is set to the inside of the closed loop. Full color high-quality images can be formed at high speed on inexpensive normal papers. |
