PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new receptor agonist responsive to peroxisome activator effective for the prophylactic or improvement of internal organ fat reduction, internal organ fat accumulation inhibition, lipid metabolism abnormality and anomaly of saccharometabolism, and effective for the prophylactic or therapy of cancer, in humans or animals. SOLUTION: This receptor agonist responsive to peroxisome activator is such one as to contain at least one kind selected from 10-26C conjugated unsaturated fatty acids each containing a conjugated triene structure (CH=CH-CH= CH-CH=CH) or a conjugated tetraene structure (CH=CH-CH=CH-CH=CH-CH =CH) in its molecule, salts thereof and ester derivatives thereof, facilitate the binding of the human or animal receptor agonist responsive to peroxisome activator to a target gene sequence, facilitate gene expression on the downstream side thereof, and provide prophylactic or improvement of internal organ fat reduction, internal organ fat accumulation inhibition, lipid metabolism abnormality and anomaly of saccharometabolism, and the prophylactic or therapy of cancer. |
