PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high power factor type rectifying and smoothing type power circuit which does not forms peak values in a charging current. SOLUTION: An inverter circuit 200 comprises a pair of serially connected capacitors 61, 62 for arms and a pair of sequentially serially connected switching elements 81, 82 are controlled so as to be turned on and off alternately, A half-bridge type inverter circuit 100 is installed to supply AC power to an AC load 70, disposed between a connection between the capacitors 61 and 62 for arms and a connection between the switching elements 81 and 82. The inverter circuit 200 and the inverter circuit 100 are so arranged that the inverter circuit 200 may be driven, when it receives the output voltage from the rectifying and smoothing type power circuit. The connection between the capacitors 61 and 62 for arms is connected to either of the two terminals of an AC power supply 10. |
