Secure accounting module for a franking machine

The accounting module is fitted onto a printed circuit card (12) mounted between a base (14) and a module cover (16). The base has a number of uprights (44) that pass through holes in the printed circuit card. Hollow posts on the underside of the cover fit over the uprights. A ring (18) fits between the cylinder and the upright clamps the two together when the cover is pressed onto the base.
