<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane-electrode assembly having an excellent jointing strength and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell which is provide with the assembly and has a high power generation performance, a fuel barrier performance, and strength, as well as an electrolyte material composition for forming the assembly, a membrane and electrode jointing agent, and an electrolyte membrane with the junction layer. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to an electrolyte material composition in which emulsion containing a non-water soluble non-fluorine system thermoplastic resin (X) and water and aqueous solution containing an acid radical-contained polymer material (Y) are blended; further, a membrane and electrode jointing agent consisting of such composition, an electrolyte membrane with the junction layer in which a membrane electrode junction layer formed using such jointing agent is installed on single face or both faces of the electrolyte membrane, a membrane-electrode assembly in which an electrode is arranged on the junction layer of such electrolyte membrane, and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having such assembly are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
