DAMPING STRUCTURE FOR SUSPENSION OF CRAWLER VEHICLE

PURPOSE: Damping structure of a suspension for a crawler vehicle is provided to improve driving experience and stability by varying the orifice of a damper with regulating the opening degree of a poppet valve. CONSTITUTION: A damping device for a suspension is composed of a high-pressure cylinder(51) storing high-pressure oil; a low-pressure cylinder(52) filled with low-pressure oil; two variable orifice valves(53) opened and closed to change the area of the orifice inversely proportional to current for regulating damping force; and two relief valves(54) arranged parallel to variable orifice valves. The variable orifice valve has a poppet valve generating damping force between the high-pressure cylinder and the low-pressure cylinder, a pilot flow regulating valve opening the poppet valve in proportion to current, a discharge flow regulating valve, and a check valve restricting counter flow from the low-pressure cylinder.
