PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent glass container with a uniform dispersibility of a condensing fluorescent pigment in a cured film coating, and also, which is excellent in the strength or the adhesion of the cured film coating, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This fluorescent glass container is equipped with the cured film coating having a thickness of 3 to 60μm which comprises a hardening fluorescent composition containing 0.1 to 100 pts.wt. of a polyol compound and in a range of 0.01 to 1 pts.wt. of the condensing fluorescent pigment based on 100 pts.wt. of a formaldehyde based resin or an acrylate based compound. The outer peripheral section of the glass container is selectively fluorescence-colored, and at the same time, at non-outer peripheral sections of the glass container, the visibility of a content is made excellent.
