INFORMATION TERMINAL WITH BUILT-IN RADIO WAVE CLOCK FOR GENERATING ONE-TIME PASSWORD BY CORRECTING TIME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-time password authentication system shortening an effective period of a password to improve security by obtaining an exact time with high precision in a time synchronous system.

SOLUTION: A radio wave clock is built in an information terminal. A one-time password is generated based on exact time information for which time correction is conducted and permission for connection with an authenticating server is obtained. Since a second bit can be adopted as the time information, the illegal invasion of a third person to the system can be prevented.
