The outer casing (2)of the roll is mounted near its axial ends on roller bearings and is supported hydraulically parallel with a plane of action (11). A damping arrangement (15,16) is positioned on the axially inner side each roller bearing at right angles to the plane of action. A throttle arrangement (21) is in front of the hydraulic support source arrangement which has a supply arrangement (22,23) with a pressure-accumulator. |
