<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method that can prevent the adherence of deposits through efficient nozzle heating and can realize continuous casting without relying upon blowing of argon gas and without causing inconvenience of leakage of electricity and a deterioration in refractories. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous casting method comprises passing a molten metal through a continuous casting nozzle 5 by supplying the molten metal into a casting mold 3 in such a state that the nozzle 5 is immersed in the molten metal within the casting mold 3, while heating the nozzle 5 to 1,000°C or above at the external surface of the nozzle 5 by a nozzle heating device 6 with a carbon heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
