PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product grouping method, and a product grouping device, which can be run at high speed, and securely actuated. SOLUTION: This product grouping device 1 is provided with an endless rotating conveyor 2 provided with a number of blade members 6 installed at a prescribed interval for forming product housing parts 6A between adjoining blade members 6, a product feed means 20 to feed the products one by one to the product housing parts 6A on the rotating conveyor 2, and an interval forming means 30A to alternate form N-piece product housing parts 6A and at least one empty product housing part 6A. As the rotating conveyor 2 and the product feeding means 20 are run, the interval forming means 30A and the product feed means 20 are synchronously actuated, so that the N-piece product housing parts 6A housing the products and at least one empty product housing part 6A are alternately formed for grouping the products by the unit of N-pieces to be carried.
