<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skew correction method, a program, an image processing apparatus, and an image processing system capable of correcting tilt of an image read from a manuscript, and improving the efficiency of inspection works in order to improve the whole reading working efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: Image data are read from a manuscript by a scanner 2, and the image data are skew-corrected for each page using a plurality of skew correction algorithms to obtain a plurality of corrected image data. A page attribute is appended to the plurality of corrected image data by a reading work host PC 3, and the plurality of corrected image data are transmitted to an inspection work host PC 4.
