<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transfer from a memory card to a separate information processing apparatus such as an image storage and display apparatus without requiring an operator's complicated operation. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus comprises: a data storage part 503 for storing data, a power input detection part 501 for detecting power input; a storage medium detection part 502 for detecting the loading of a removable storage medium 500 (memory card 201) when power input is detected; and a data copying part 504 for, if the loading of the removable storage medium 500 is detected, copying data stored on the removable storage medium 500 into the data storage part 503. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
