THE ROBOT DEVICE FOR OVERHEAD WELDING

A robot equipment for exclusive overhead welding is provided to improve working environment and productivity by simultaneously applying an exclusive welding robot for welding a lug or other attachments adhered onto a lower surface of a block of an iron structure in an overhead posture and improving mobility of driving of a robot according to the welding operation. A robot equipment for exclusive overhead welding comprises: an exclusive welding robot(10) comprising a multi-joint drive part(12) which has a welding torch(15) at a front end thereof and is installed on a base plate(11); an up and down drive part(30) which has a rotation part(20) that is installed on an upper surface thereof to enable the base plate to be rotatable, and moves the exclusive welding robot up and down; and a moving cart(40) which has a sliding means(35) for laterally moving the exclusive welding robot and the up and down drive part, on which the exclusive welding robot, the rotation part, the up and down drive part, the sliding means and a welding equipment are mounted, and which comprises a controller(50) for controlling drive of the respective units.
