A water control valve system is provided to smoothly perform a rotational operation of a sleeve nut by using a line contact state of a sleeve nut and a slid cover to minimize friction. In a water control valve system, a friction preventing ring(100) is engaged between the bottom surface of a sleeve nut(40) and a slide contact surface(32) of a cover(30) positioning the bottom surface of the sleeve nut and slid in a surface contact state to put the bottom surface of the sleeve nut into a line contact state. A rotatable lift interrupting stop ring is engaged with the outer surface of the lower side of a valve rod integrally protruding from the upper side of a valve disc(20) so that a connecting portion of the valve rod cannot be inserted into a valve rod engaging hole(41) formed at a central portion of the bottom surface of the sleeve nut.
