PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an organic transistor insulating film having solvent resistance. SOLUTION: The composition for an organic transistor insulating film, [1] contains ion liquid (A) and a polymer (B) having an hydrophilic unit and a crosslinking group. [2] The hydrophilic unit of the polymer (B) is an (ethylene oxide) unit. [3] The crosslinking group of the polymer (B) is at least one kind of crosslinking group selected from (1) a functional group having a cation ring-opening polymerization nature, (2) a functional group having an unsaturated bond, (3) a functional group having an active hydrogen, and (4) at least one kind of crosslinking group selected from a group consisting of functional groups reacting to the active hydrogen.
