<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature raise of a drive system concerning the feed of a recording medium when abnormal feed of the recording medium occurs in the accommodation part. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 has accommodation parts 120a, 120b, 220a, and 220b as available ones. Each of the accommodation parts 120a, 120b, 220a, and 220b is equipped with a power supply section and the stop and resumption of power supply can be controlled for each accommodation part. When the abnormal feed of the recording medium occurs in one of the accommodation parts, the image forming device 100 stops the power supply from the power supply section of the accommodation part in question. The image forming device 100 does not resume the power supply from the power supply section of the accommodation part in question until the feed of the recording medium held in the accommodation part becomes necessary even if the abnormal feed in the accommodation part has been solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
