<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lamp, which can be inexpensively manufactured and which can be simply mounted on a printed board. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lamp includes the printed board 12, in which a plurality of LED chips 31 and Zener diode chips Z are connected to a wiring pattern P formed on a surface by conducting wires 35, and which feeds electric power, a supporting plate 23 for supporting the printed board 12, and a substantially semicircular transparent tube 14 covering an upper face of the printed board 12 while exposing a lower face of the supporting plate 23, and having its two right and left side end portions mounted on the supporting plate 23. The plurality of LED chips 31 are connected in series with one another. The plurality of Zener diode chips Z are individually connected inversely in parallel with the individual ones of the plurality of LED chips 31.
