PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing diagonal cables, which facilitates construction of a diagonal-cable fixing portion at an upper portion of a main tower of a cable-stayed bridge, and enables size reduction of the diagonal-cable fixing portion.SOLUTION: The structure includes: a first concrete block 11 to which an upper end portion of a diagonal cable 5 extended on one side in a bridge-axis direction is fixed, a second concrete block 12 which is arranged apart from the first concrete block in the bridge-axis direction and to which a diagonal cable 6 extended on the other side in the bridge-axis direction is fixed, two steel plates 13, 14 arranged in close contact with both side surfaces of both the concrete blocks to connect the concrete blocks, and a plurality of tendons 15 which penetrate through the two steel plates and to which tension is introduced such that the two steel plates sandwich and fasten the concrete blocks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
