PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve some problems found in the prior art compressor comprising an outer protection cover covering a driving pulley of a motor, a driven pulley of a compressor main body and a belt from outside, and an inner protection cover covering them from inside, since this inner protection cover is constituted by one flat plate, if a similar configuration is applied to a large-sized machine, a lack of rigidity in bending of a cover itself is generated at the cover central part, in particular, as a result, vibration of the entire protection cover becomes larger to generate various problems such as damage or interference with the pulleys, in addition, in view of cost reduction, it is desirable that a plate thickness of the protection cover that is not a strength member is made thin within a range capable of keeping its function.SOLUTION: An inner protection cover is divided into two segments, each of the opposing end surfaces is overlapped to each other between the compressor main body and the motor while being bent and then they are fixed by fastening means. With this arrangement as above, it is possible to provide a compressor enabling improvement of strength, cost reduction caused by thick plate formation of raw material and improvement of productivity to be attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
