PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing cyclic ketone at high yield by oxidizing the cyclic olefin with only a palladium compound as an oxidation catalyst in presence of an alcohol solvent and molecular oxygen.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of cyclic ketone by oxidizing cyclic olefin in presence of an alcohol solvent, an oxidation catalyst and molecular oxide in a reaction container, where only palladium compound is used as the oxidation catalyst and cyclic olefin is oxidized under a condition of pressure of an air phase part of the reaction container of 0.20 MPa (G) or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
