PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectenna controller by which, even if output power of a rectenna changes over a wide range, highest RF/DC conversion efficiency at a power level of the rectenna can be obtained at all the time.SOLUTION: A rectenna controller 1 is disposed between a rectenna 2 which receives a microwave, rectifies, and converts the microwave into DC power, and a commercial power network 3 to which the DC power outputted from the rectenna 2 is supplied. The rectenna controller 1 comprises: an impedance control part 10 which measures an output voltage of the rectenna 2 and performs control for keeping load resistance constant in a non-saturation region in which the output voltage is not saturated; and a constant voltage control part 20 which measures the output voltage of the rectenna 2 and performs control, in a saturation region where the output voltage is saturated, for keeping the output voltage at a fixed voltage in the saturation region. Impedance control by the impedance control part 10 and constant voltage control by the constant voltage control part 20 are automatically switched in accordance with an output voltage level of the rectenna 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
