The present invention relates to a lighting device for a trunk of an automobile which is installed on an upper portion of a trunk to be easily detached to perform a function of a trunk lamp and be used for other purposes such as a portable lighting lamp and a warning light, and displays a decoration logo or the like to perform a function of an interior prop. According to the present invention, the lighting device for a trunk of an automobile comprises: a main body in which a light source is accommodated; a magnet installed on an upper portion of the main body and attached to an upper surface of a trunk of an automobile by a magnetic force; and a connection terminal of a conductive material installed to allow an upper end thereof to protrude to the outside of the upper surface of the main body to come in contact with a power supply terminal installed on the upper surface of the trunk and receive power to operate the light source when the main body is attached to the upper surface of the trunk.
