The present invention relates to an electrolysis apparatus which can suppress deformation of an ion exchange membrane. The electrolysis apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an ion exchange membrane; a first electrode and a second electrode which are arranged to face each other and are separated from each other while having the ion exchange membrane in the middle; a power supply which electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode; and a deformation restraining part to suppress deformation of the ion exchange membrane by supporting both sides of the ion exchange membrane.
