Provided are a level shifter and a display device comprising the same. The level shifter includes a register which generates a control signal for determining whether to perform pulse modulation poling operation (GPM); a switching controller which generates at least one switching signal, based on the control signal and an input signal; and an output buffer which receives the at least one switching signal and generates a level-shifted gate pulse. So, the operation of a GPM method can be selected or not selected.
