PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a processing unit smoothly and position the unit at a correct position in a proper posture.SOLUTION: A supporting mechanism, which supports a processing unit 26 to a sheet processing part (a processing tray) 24 to be positionally movable, comprises a processing unit 26 and first and second supporting parts 50 and 55 which support the processing unit. The first supporting part 50 and the second supporting part 55 are arranged so as to impart supporting force Fa acting on the processing unit 26 from a lower side to an upper side (in an opposite direction of a direction of action of gravity) and supporting force Fb acting on the processing unit from an upper side to a lower side (the same direction as the direction of action of gravity) respectively to positions different with a distance in between (a distance between J-K).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
