A valve device (120) is proposed for use in feeding apparatus releasing raw material into a raw material processing machinery (105) for the manufacturing of high- voltage cable. In the solution according to embodiments of the present invention, the valve device includes a valve body (205) comprising a first valve member (220) having a conical shape and including at least one opening (230) extending between a tip of the first valve member and a corresponding base portion (210b) of the first valve member, and a second valve member (225) including at least one cover element (245); one of said valve member (220, 225) is rotatable with respect to the other valve member (225, 220) between a first operating position in which the at least one cover element (245) uncovers the at least one opening (230), thereby allowing the raw material to flow through the valve device, and a second operating position in which the at least one cover element (245) covers the at least one opening (230), thereby preventing raw material from flowing through the valve device. |
