The door fitting device has bands (3) that are mounted in a stationary door frame (2), a door drive (5), and a drive housing (5g) having an output shaft (5w) and a force-transmitting linkage provided with a sliding arm and a guide rail. A slide rail is mounted on the door frame, and an electrically switchable lock is set cooperating with a counter (6). The lock is arranged outside the movement path of slide rail or in a direction parallel to the chambers. The force-transmitting linkage is mounted on the fixed door frame as a structural unit.
