A computer program product, a method, and an information handling system is provided to monitor each user's compliance to a governance policy for each embedded component for each user attempting to execute applications in the system and responsive to detecting a non-compliance by a user for an embedded component, performing a remediation action for the embedded component.

1. A computer program product for monitoring user's governance compliance comprising a computer readable storage medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations including:
detecting during development of one or more applications an integration of one or more embedded components into the one or more applications wherein a first embedded component has a first embedded component governance policy; determining a first embedded component remediation policy for the first embedded component governance policy; storing the first embedded component remediation policy into a user remediation data base; activating user remediation of the one or more components integrated into the user remediation data base prior to deployment of the one or more applications; during deployment of the one or more applications, monitoring a user's compliance to a governance policy to the one or more embedded components in a first application; and responsive to determining non-compliance to the first embedded component governance policy for the first embedded component, performing a first embedded component remediation action.
