<p>PURPOSE: A method generating an interpolation pixel is provided to prevent the degradation of image quality through a jagging artifact-removed image effect for a scaled-up image. CONSTITUTION: An edge is detected(S13), and an interpolation pixel is calculated(S14). In the case of the last address of the image data, the interpolation is started in an initial address of the image data(S15,S17). The edge is detected(S18), and the interpolation pixel is calculated(S19). A jagging artifact-removed image is outputted(S20,S22), and an address of the image is increased not in the case of the last address of the image data(S21).</p> |
