PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for a color filter, the ink excellent in dispersion stability of a pigment and capable of keeping excellent discharge stability for a long period of time, and suitably used for manufacturing the color filter which suppresses color unevenness or density unevenness in each part of the filter, can display an image with an excellent contrast ratio and has excellent uniformity of characteristics among individual products.

SOLUTION: The ink for the color filter is to be used for manufacturing the color filter by an inkjet system, and includes a pigment, a polymer M expressed by formula (8), a dispersion medium in which the pigment is dispersed, and a compound A expressed by formula (10).
