摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shaft torque of an engine to a required value regardless of a driving state.SOLUTION: A power transmission device for a hybrid vehicle includes: a transmission 20 having a plurality of gear shift rotating elements enabling differential rotation; a differential 30 having a plurality of differential rotating elements enabling differential rotation; and an HVECU. The transmission 20 includes: an engaging device (clutch CL1 or a brake BK1) having a first engaging member and a second engaging member; a carrier C1 connected to a rotating shaft 11 of an engine; and a sun gear S1 connected to the first engaging member of the clutch CL1 and the first engaging member of the brake BK1. The differential 30 includes: a carrier C2 connected to a ring gear R1 of the transmission 20; a sun gear S2 connected to a rotating shaft 12 of an MG1; and a ring gear R2 connected to a rotating shaft 13 of an MG2 and a driving wheel W. The HVECU performs slip control between the first engaging member and the second engaging member of the engaging device when shaft torque of the engine ENG cannot be reduced to required shaft torque.
