There proposed a group of inventions providing a method of repairing freight cars a depot therefore ensuring high-quality, emergency, low-cost repair of single or a small quantities of freight cars being remote from main basis repair facilities and from main lines of cargo transportation, e.g. directly at ore quarries, pits and ports. The proposed method of repair is characterized in that disassembling a freight car, lifting it, inspecting, fault detection of units, e.g. bogie, wheel pairs, said aggregates are dismantled and directed to appropriate a bogie or wheel-roller sections for inspecting and repair. Yet, faulty bogie parts are replaced to new ones and selection of wheel pairs for definite geometric bogie parameters is carried out after optimality pre-operations aimed at careful sorting and selection for definite required parameters in specialized automated storehouses where needed parts and wheel pairs are stored. Said method is realized with the help of a special compact freight-part depot in which repair sections and main equipment are arranged using an original “linear” principle - cross location of wagon-assembly section at one depot ends along the end wall and with longitudinal location of main repair sections (bogie and wheel pair) perpendicular to wagon-assembly if a automated store units for changeable spare pars (bogies) are in the depot central part, and automated store units for wheel pairs and axle box bearings accordingly along the wheel-roller repair section. |
