<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for ink-jet recording, which can realize images excellent in colorability, stability and fixity, is especially excellent as an ink composition for ink-jet printing, and is excellent in ink discharging stability from an ink-jet heads. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition for ink-jet recording comprises at least a dispersion enabling the dispersing of a pigment in water, polymer fine particles, and a compound represented by formula (I), wherein the particles of the dispersion have an average particle diameter of 50 to 300 nm; the polymer fine particles have a glass transition temperature of ≤-10°C and an acid value of ≤100 mgKOH/g, and contain ≥70 wt.% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate and/or a cyclic alkyl (meth)acrylate; and the compound represented by formula (I) is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt.% based on the total amount of the ink composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
