PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive suitable for mutually bonding molded articles of a cross-linked metathesis polymer, excellent in chemical resistance by including a mixture of a raw compound capable of metathesis polymerizing and a catalyst for metathesis polymerization and a liquid or semisolid obtained by mixing the prescribed compound and catalyst. SOLUTION: This adhesive includes (A) a mixture of (i) a raw compound capable of metathesis polymerizing (e.g. dicyclopentadiene, methyltetracyclododecene, etc.), and (ii) a metathesis polymerization catalyst preferably expressed by formulas I or II (M is ruthenium or osmium; Q and Q1 are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, 2-20C alkenyl, etc.,; X and X1 are each an anionic ligand; L and L1 are each an electron donating group), and (B) a liquid or semisolid obtained by mixing the prescribed compound and catalyst at 0-80 deg.C.
