PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance opacity and to prevent occurrence of strike through and cockling by a method wherein an ink receiving layer constituted mainly of a white pigment and an adhesive is provided on one surface of a substrate such as paper and an adhesive resin layer containing a hiding white pigment and wood free paper are laminated on the opposite surface. SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer constituted mainly of a white pigment and an adhesive is provided on one surface of a substrate such as paper. As for the white pigment, calcined kaolin, synthetic amorphous silica or the like is preferable, while starch, a water-soluble polymer, polyvinyl alcohol or the like is preferable as the adhesive. On the opposite surface of the substrate, an adhesive resin layer containing a hiding white pigment and wood free paper are laminated. As for the hiding white pigment contained in the adhesive resin layer, a titanium dioxide is preferable. As to the mixing ratio, the hiding white pigment is 5-100 pts.wt., preferably 30-50 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of adhesive resin. Opacity is enhanced and occurrence of strike through and cockling is prevented, while sharpness and color properties of a printed image are excellent. |
