Complexes which contain at least one glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol protein and at least one cholanic acid derivative of the formula I (I) are suitable, inter alia, in enzyme tests and as aids in chemical reactions; where R1 is -NH-CH2-CH2-SO3 or -NH-CH2-COOH, R2 is NR3R4 or -OR5; R3, R4 or R5 are a hydrogen atom, (C1-C5)-alkyl, (C3-C6)-cycloalkyl, substituted acetyl, halogen, succinyl, substituted benzyl or substituted benzoyl.
